The Miami Valley Down Syndrome Association (MVDSA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1977. We aim to provide information, support and resources to individuals with Down syndrome, their families and their communities. Our objectives include:

Helping people with Down syndrome recognize their strengths, maximize their potential and develop reasonable expectations throug hout life.

Ensuring appropriate education and experiences from birth in order to obtain maximum individual and occupational self-sufficiency.

Identifying, encouraging, and disseminating research results and information aimed at improving the lives of individuals with Down syndrome.

Ensuring social experiences with all people.

Giving encouragement and support to families of individuals with Down syndrome, when needed throughout life.
