Description

Florence Crittenton Center is to help teens and teen mothers forge a better future for themselves, despite their early experience.

Our Center is one of only three programs in Los Angeles County that provides fulltime residential care for teen mothers and their babies. These young mothers, aged 12 through 18, are wards of the juvenile court. Without exception, they have been exposed to violence and abandonment, physical, emotional and sexual abuse, disrupted school attendance, drug abuse and gang related activities.

Crittenton Center specializes in caring for pregnant and parenting teens. These young mothers, aged 12 through 18, are dependents or wards of the juvenile court and are placed here through the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services and/or the Probation Department.
