Description

Services to young people at risk/crisis: prevention and treatment programs, education, housing, life skills, and encouragement in a nuturing environment.

The Florence Crittenton Agency, first chartered in 1896, is a 55-bed comprehensive treatment facility for troubled young women in crisis or at risk.

The Crittenton Program provides residential care and counseling for pregnant teens.

The Barrett Hall Program provides residential treatment for young women with emotional problems.

We also provide care for new mothers and their infants, substance abuse counseling, and "life skills" training programs to help young women live independently and productively.

Outreach programs operated by the Agency include a teen pregnancy prevention program (STARS), child and parenting skills training (CAPS), and Young Moms and Dads of East Tennessee.
