Mission Statement

help2kids is a Swiss-based NGO operating in Africa. Our objective is to give some of the most vulnerable children in Tanzania access to the basic necessities that all children deserve; education, food and healthcare so that they can break out of the cycle of poverty and live happy, productive lives. We believe in the power of education and the potential of all children.

Description

help2kids operates several diverse projects in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania’s largest city. We run a Day Care Centre and support a local Primary School. We also run a Health Project for nearly 1,000 vulnerable children and have a sponsorship program for talented and hard-working students. At all of our projects, international volunteers and local staff work together to create an environment that will allow children to thrive.

I loved working with the kids of the Day Care Centre! It was a great experience to get an insight into the Tanzanian culture and school system! I will definitely come back! I would recommend to everyone to go abroad and volunteer instead of just traveling as a tourist. I met a lot of people and made new friends in this beautiful country
