Work with the elderly population in a nursing home/rehab setting. Socialization with others. A sense of worthfullness.

Volunteers work hand in hand with our activity department as well as our social services. We offer our volunteers the chance to interact with the geriatric population. Volunteers are given the sense of helpfulness and of being worthwhile. All of our volunteers serve 4 or more hours a day are given free lunch. All volunteers serving 20 or more hours a year are invited to the Annual Volunteer Banquet in thier honor. Awards are given to the volunteer of the year,to the volunteer with the most hours, as well as acknowledged throughout the year at special apprectiation cookouts. Our volunteers are very appreciated and needed here at Chritian Park Health Care Center.
