Description

The Family Literacy Project began in 1995 out of an identified need in the community for English as a Second Language classes. Classes are taught two nights per week covering topics on daily living.

The goal of the Family Literacy Project is to empower its participants as they transition to living in the United States by assisting them in acquiring English language skills, knowledge about U.S. customs and culture, and their rights as individuals in the United States.
