Description

The Collin County Historical Society was first organized in 1957 by Captain Roy F. Hall. The original organization was formalized in 1984 when the Society received 501(c)3 status as a nationally-recognized not-for-profit organization. The Collin County Historical Society changed its name to the North Texas History Center to better reflect its mission in February of 2007.

Collin County is the fastest-growing county in the state and one of the fasting growing in America. NTHC is prepared to serve a rapidly expanding population and do it with vigor and excellence.
