The Hattiesburg Foster Grandparent Program offers seniors age 60 and older opportunities to serve as mentors, tutors, and loving caregivers for children and youth with special needs.

The Hattiesburg Foster Grandparent Program offers seniors age 60 and older who meet income requirements opportunities to serve as mentors, tutors, and loving caregivers for children and youth at the volunteers stations selected in Hattiesburg, MS. Seniors provide direct service to the children and youth and are provided with the benifits that come along with being a Senior Corps Volunteer. Members also have the opportunity to be trained by the American Red Cross in disaster safety and prepardeness, so they may give presentations to children as "Grandma/Grandpa Safety".
