Great turnout this morning, we got there a bit late, but they had around 40-50 people working on clearing brush/picking up trash. We came up to the pop-up tent where we signed some waivers, and were given some tools to do our job (We had our 4 year old son, so we thought trash duty was the best). We had a great time walking around the park for about 90 minutes picking up trash. The best part was that our son really enjoyed being able to help the animals of the forest. The Organizers had Ice Water and Lara Bars for the volunteers, which was a nice touch. When we were done they handed us coupons to the hardware store that helped donate all the equipment. Great day.
