Description

Volunteers greet and answer questions from the public, answer phones, conduct research, sort mail and email, and help constituents. Must be profecient with the internet and Microsoft Word.

Office Description
The Board of Supervisors is the legislative body for the City and County of San Francisco. As a public office, our work includes; solving constituent problems, addressing policy issues that affect a broad population, developing legislation, and organizing community events. Our volunteers and student interns work closely with our two staff members providing administrative support for the delivery of such public services.

Our office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. We would like volunteers and interns to work at least one 4-hour shift per week. This is an unpaid position. Work for school credit can be arranged.
