Blueprint Schools Network is a nonprofit organization that works to promote educational equity and improve life outcomes for students by partnering with schools and districts to plan, implement, and monitor school improvement initiatives.
Blueprint’s approach to rapidly accelerating student achievement in low-performing public schools is to serve as a lead partner for districts ready to champion the important and urgent work of school reform. Blueprint works with districts, not in place of districts, to support whole-school improvement initiatives and to monitor schools’ progress towards their goals.
Blueprint’s job is to work with partners at the state, district and school level to develop a school improvement plan, execute that plan, and monitor its implementation. Through this work we aim to improve the educational and life opportunities of the students we serve.
Although Blueprint often works to support whole school improvement initiatives, we also operate a tutoring program called The Blueprint Fellows Program that can serve as a stand-alone intervention. The Fellows Program is an intensive, daily, in-school tutoring program that provides additional academic support for students in our partner schools. In Boston, our Fellows are AmeriCorps members preforming a year of dedicated national service.
