Mission Statement

We as The College-Ready Promise are a coalition of four Charter Management Organizations (CMOs) who have committed to create and implement innovative teacher and administrator effectiveness reforms that lead to students graduating college-ready.

This partnership serves primarily low-income and minority students in Los Angeles and other communities in California. The coalition includes the Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, Aspire Public Schools, Green Dot Public Schools, and Partnerships to Uplift Communities. These organizations currently serve more than 38,000 students in 90 public schools.

Description

We are sponsoring Elevating and Celebrating Effective Teaching and Teachers - Los Angeles (ECET2-LA), a free one-day conference for teachers, by teachers that elevates the teaching profession and celebrates teachers as experts in the field.

On October 11, 2014, ECET2-LA will bring together 300+ dynamic educators at the USC Davidson Continuing Education Conference Center to collaborate and learn.
