Mission Statement

The Northern Nevada Arts Council was founded to aid, encourage, advise, and coordinate activities dedicated to promote the arts and to provide cultural enrichment and education to members of the community by creating opportunities to experience and to participate in the performing and visual arts in the Winnemucca area.

Description

The Northern Nevada Arts Council (NoNAC) consists of a Board of Directors and several constituent organizations that provide the opportuities for the people in the Winnemucca area to fulfill the mission of NoNAC. NoNAC acts as the legal entity and fiscal agent for the constituent organizations.

The current opportunities include music, choral singing, community theater, children's theater, and visual arts exhibitions.

Opportunities under development include youth arts educaton, a community performance venue, a music festival, community concerts and organizational development.
