Mission Statement

To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the school, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.

To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children.

To encourage parent and public involvement in Turtle Lake Elementary School.

Description

The Turtle Lake PTA is run by volunteers, led by volunteers, and accountable to the Turtle Lake community. The main purpose is to serve as a relevant resource for families and a strong advocate for the education and well being of every child. The PTA builds bridges between home and school, integrating the efforts of parents with principals and teachers. The goal is to help give parents what we all ultimately want - a way to help our children succeed.

The Turtle Lake PTA is assisting in the building of an inclusive playground at Turtle Lake Elementary.
