Minnesota Youth Council is a collaboration of youth and adults working together to empower and mobilize youth across the state to exercise their voices, opinions and ideas to take action on youth issues.

Description

Minnesota Youth Council seeks to engage young people in practicing and honing a number of skills and offer opportunities for civic and youth engagement. Minnesota Youth Council gives members a platform to develop and strengthen their voices and engage in dialogue with legislators and policy makers at the state and local levels. Members become skillfully equipped with the critical thinking, public speaking and leadership skills necessary to act as representatives of youth and change agents in their communities and across the state.
