Position Description The CRPE Marketing Manager Is responsible for executing marketing strategy and initiatives for JerseySTEM’s Corporate (CRPE) vertical. This role will report to the Engagement Marketing Lead, and will work cross-functionally with various department leads. Overview This is a pro-bono volunteer position. JerseySTEM is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls. The Business Development Team Lead provides leadership, direction and planning to identify, reach out to and engage with College and universities of interest that could provide volunteer program instructors. Responsibilities Responsibilities The Team Lead will work closely with the COLE Department head to develop and implement effective strategies for recruiting college and university students as volunteer instructors. Lead the College Engagement Business Development Team to identify and engage with colleges and universities of interest to the volunteer program. Build and foster relationships with key personnel at colleges and universities, including faculty members, administrators. Help coordinate and attend events and activities at colleges and universities to promote the volunteer program and recruit potential volunteer instructors. Track and report on the effectiveness of college engagement strategies and adjust as needed to achieve program goals. Work closely with the Volunteer Program Director to ensure alignment of college engagement strategies with overall program goals and objectives. Provide guidance and support to the College Engagement Business Development Team, including training, mentoring, and performance management. Mandatory Meetings: Conduct/Attend virtual team meetings weekly : Sundays 5on EST Monthly Department Heads Meetings(2nd Thursday 7:30pm) Quarterly board Meeting (Last Wednesday 7:30pm) Time Commitment 3-6 Hours weekly 6 months minimum Qualifications Genuine concern about/interest in solving the STEM education gender gap Strong leadership/team building skills Resourceful, can-do attitude Experience with Universities and College campuses Outreach experience preferred Experience leading a function (i.e. team, department manager, etc) and managing others Comfort working in a 'virtual organization’ with digital tools (G-Suite, Slack, Jira, salesforce) Would be a plus if candidate has flexible schedule to allow for day time calls with the school admins during the work week

This is a pro-bono Unpaid volunteer position. JerseySTEM is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls. The Internal Communications Manager will own content strategy and creation for JerseySTEM’s internal communications on our internal platforms. You will have the opportunity to flex your creative muscles to develop engaging internal communications for all our volunteers and build a team of communicators. Responsibilities Plan and create content for our internal platforms, including newsletters, Volunteer Portal, cross-platform announcements, etc. Craft pieces including volunteer profiles, success stories, and announcements of newcomers Create storyboards and effectively collaborate with the creative team to convey messaging in a clear manner Ensure internal communications messaging remains consistent across platforms Utilize the JerseySTEM brand guide to create graphics and design layouts for communications as needed Draft and share communications written on behalf of the leadership team Partner with stakeholders on content creation and apply feedback Partner with Marketing on content shared on external platforms Minimum 3-5 hours/week and minimum 6-month commitment. Attend weekly virtual team meeting (date and time TBD based on your availability). This is a remote volunteer position Qualifications Genuine concern about/interest in solving the STEM education gender gap for middle school girls in low income environments Experience with internal content creation preferred Strong creative skills to engage a virtual audience/community Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Experience with using JIRA, Slack and Google Workspace is an asset.
