한인회는 한인사회의 권익을 신장하고 그 지위를 향상 시키며 번영을 도모한다.

The Korean American Association of the Washington Metropolitan Area (KAAW) is the oldest umbrella association protecting the rights and representing the interests of 250,000 Korean-Americans in the Washington Metropolitan area.

KAAW advocates the rights of the Korean-Americans and promote the well-being and prosperity of the Korean-American community. We conduct activities to promote unity and fellowship, community participation, provide educational and social programs to the Korean-American community, and share our culture to play a part in the diverse community of our region.

Description

The KORUS Festival is organized by the Korean American Association of Washington Metropolitan Area (KAAW), a non-profit 501(c) organization.The KAAW advocates the rights of Korean-Americans and promotes the well-being and prosperity of the Korean-American community. We conduct activities to promote unity and fellowship, community participation, provide educational and social programs to the Korean-American community, and share our culture to play a part in the diverse community of our region.

저희 한미 축제는 지난 10 년 동안 엄청난 성장을 거듭 해 왔으며, 이에 매년 번영하는 한미 축제에 함께하실 참가자 분들을 진심으로 환영합니다. 한미 축제(KORUS Festival)는 비영리 단체인 워싱턴지구 한인연합회(KAAW)에 의해 주최되고 있습니다. 워싱턴지구 한인연합회는 미국내 한인의 권리를 옹호하고 웰빙과 한인 사회 번영에 기여하고 있습니다. 또한 화합과 친교를 촉진할 수 있는 한인들을 위한 교육 프로그램을 제공하는 등, 지역내에 다양한 한국 문화를 공유 및 전파하는 활동에 주도적인 역할을 하고있습니다.
