Description

We provide non-medical, in-home support to individuals and families who are coping with illness, disability or crisis: friendly visits, shopping, transportation, respite, light chores

Putting your Faith in Action: Care Team Ministry is a church sponsored program that helps individuals and families cope with various non-medical needs in order for them to improve their quality of life and to remain independent for as long as possible. Care Team creates a circle of friends that offer support. A small group of 2-5 team members share in offering such things as friendly visits, shopping assistance, meal preparation, transportation, yard chores, light housekeeping, simple repairs, reading, correspondence and respite care. All Team Members are trained and commit to one hour per week of service, plus one hour per month for Care Team meeting. Confidentiality, respectful serving, honoring one's dignity are crucial. All services are FREE OF CHARGE. There is no proselytizing. All faiths are involved in Care Team Ministry.
