Description

We are an all volunteer organization which has existed in the Bayside, New York area for the past thirty-five years. We raise our monies by operating a Thrift/Gift shop filled with items donated by our supporters. Once our rent and utilities have been paid, all other monies raised are devoted to hleping animals directly. We help fund no-kill shelters and rescue groups. We also help provide individuals who work with feral cat colonies with cat food, and if necessary, medical assistance for their ferals. In addition, we assist individuals whose animals require medical treatment which is beyond that person's ability to finance. We provide humane traps to people who need to trap a cat in order to provide it with medical treatment, and are able to issue the "Friends of Animals" low-cost spay/neuter certificates.
