Hands on support for terminially ill patients and families

Following a comprehensive training program of 22 1/2 hours, volunteers work with terminally patients and their families in a supportive and caring manner. Volunteers are committed to spend at least 3 hours a week with their assigned families. They relieve the caregiver, assist with errands, sit with the patient or help in any way that a family member would help.
