I am a Clinical Gerontologist with a private practice in Geriatric Care Management.My clients (patients)consist mostly of individuals with Alzheimer's disease, as well as some who are depressed. Most are homebound and have the assistance of home health aides. They would greatly benefit from home visits from volunteers who are both compassinate and sensitive. Most clients are Jewish between the ages of 75 to 90 years old. For the most part,they are a very interesting group of individuals who are profoundly lonely,and crave love and affection.
