Mission Statement

Operation Jump Start helps low-resourced, high potential, first-generation college students get in, stay in, and graduate from college. We do this by providing academic support, mentoring, and exposure to a broader world.

Description

We believe a college education is one of the surest ways to break the cycle of poverty. By providing long-term services and resources that support the WHOLE student, we are creating an environment where students can triumph over their circumstances, succeed in school, and thrive in their lives. We provide scholarships, mentoring, counseling, academic support, tutoring, fun events and trips, and opportunities for leadership.
