Telephone helpline that responds and reaches out to people in the community who are stressed, lonely, suicidal.

Description

Non-profit, United Way funded organization that utilizes trained volunteers to staff the telephone line and respond and/or call people in the community who need the service. Contact provides the training. Currently volunteers range from 20 - 80 years with educational backgrounds that range from High School to Doctoral level.
