Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly is a national, nonprofit organization committed to relieving isolation and loneliness among the elderly.

What sets LBFE apart from other elder care organizations is our philosophy of "flowers before bread." This mottoe and the rose in our logo reflect the spirit with which we do our unique work. What we mean by "flowers before bread" is that everyone, especially the elderly, deserves to have the special touches that make life worth living. LBFE recognizes that hearts can starve as well as bodies and that along with the "bread" everyone needs the flowers.
