After school literacy-focused program for school-age children. The AmeriCorps/volunteer focus is on the enrichment/recreational portion of the program.

Our AmeriCorps Program, Get STARTed focuses on enriching the lives of children from low-income at-risk neighborhoods. The intent is to provide enrichment and recreational activities which would otherwise not be available to the children. As well as to create lasting adult/child relationships which will benefit both the adult and the child.
