The mission of A. Maceo Smith New Tech High School is to be an outstanding school of choice where students are engaged in projects-based learning that develops 21 st Century Skills supported by technology that prepares them for a competitive global society.

Description

The Debate Team of A. Maceo Smith New Tech High School is seeking volunteers to serve as debate judges during policy debate tournaments and team mentors. We are seeking volunteers from the legal profession (retired or currently proacticing) as well as corporate support to serve on our Debate Advisory Commitee. We are seeking donations for food sponsorships for team meetings. The Policy Debate Team is 25 members strong and this is only our 2nd year at New Tech. These urban students will be engaged in policy debate, Lincoln Douglas Debate as well as International Public Policy Forum.
