Sign Design Theater Company

Description

We are a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) youth development program that teaches children ages 5-18 years of age American Sign Language (ASL) through the performing arts. The children are both hearing and non hearing children. Sign Design members gain self-confidence, a sense of responsibility and an understanding of the value of community service and disability acceptance. Through various community per formances and community activities, they also help increase deaf awareness in Southern Nevada.

Sign Design Theatre also has provided after school Partnership Programs with the Clark County School District every year for the past nineteen years. These programs are conducted at elementary schools throughout Las Vegas, which have brought the magic of ASL and the excitement of performing to a whole generation of Nevada's children.
