Description

Communities In Schools of Kent is a local affiliate of the nation's leading dropout prevention organization. We place Site Coordinators in partner schools to coordinate services for at-risk students, such as mentoring, academic assistance, enrichment, parent engagement, service learning, internships and job shadowing opportunities.

I am mentoring once a week with an elementary student. This organization also works with middle school and high school age students. It's been a great experience and I highly recommend donating or volunteering your time. I'ts a great cause to help our youth!!
