Our volunteers enjoy a variety of experiences, including assisting older adults with monthly bill-paying and visiting older adults in nursing facilities.

The Illinois Volunteer Money Management Program (IVMMP)is sponsored by AARP. It serves older adults who need assistance with monthly bill-paying, or who need a Representative Payee. The Long Term Care Ombudsman trains volunteers to do friendly visiting in nursing facilities, and to be the "eyes and ears" of the program to help assure that older adults in nursing facilities receive appropriate care.
