Educating Senior Medicare Beneficiaries and their families on reading the Medicare Summary Notice, recognizing differences between their summary and the statement from their providers.

Our goal is to educate Medicare beneficiaries and their families in checking their summary statements against their provider statements. This is a federally funded project to help stop waste, fraud, and abuse of our Medicare dollars. Idaho has saved in excess of $300,000 since the program began in 1999.

Volunteers are needed throughout the state and training opportunities take place once a month.
