Casita Maria Center for Arts & Education is an 80-year old South Bronx-based community arts and educational organization that presents diverse, contemporary visual and performing arts and education programming for all ages. Our educational programs serve 1,500 students and include after school, in-school, summer camp and an arts internship for middle and high school students. Casita’s artistic programs serve over 10,000 community members and include residencies for visual and performing artists, gallery exhibitions, theater, dance, music performances and the South Bronx Culture Trail, an initiative that celebrates key moments in the cultural history of the South Bronx.
