We offer volunteer opportunities that include hands-on, direct service at our social day program for those with Alzheimer's disease. The program offers games, crafts, music, drama, hot meals

We seek volunteers who enjoy and respect elders. Volunteers assist at the social day program with games, trivia, art, crafts, music, pet therapy, drama, bingo, meals, and exercise. More importantly, we ask them to offer companionship and camaraderie to our participants who often suffer from social isolation. We are a local non-profit that is volunteer-driven. We provide a break for caregivers by providing care with dignity for their loved ones. Training is provided and hours are extremely flexible. The program is offered M-F from 10 am to 1:45 pm. Most of our volunteers have been with us for over 5 years and enjoy their participation. We also use volunteers for special events and fundraising, clerical/office work, and a speakers bureau.
