University Avenue Assisted Living

University Avenue Assisted Living - For individuals with a medical need for supportive services, the newly constructed University Avenue Assisted Living residence is now being filled with members of our community who wish to give back in some capactiy. The building, located on the Bronx campus of Jewish Home Lifecare will be home to 72 residents when full.

Funded by a New York State Department of Health HEAL grant, the apartment building will be home to New York State residents who are 62 or older, Medicaid-recipients, and require assistance with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, etc...).

This latest program, built for Bronx seniors requiring supportive services, comes at a time of heightened need for our elder population."
