Long-Term Care (LTC)Ombudsmen receive, investigate and resolve complaints on behalf of residents in nursing homes, boarding homes and adult family homes.

Volunteer LTC Ombudsmen must complete four days of training and be certified by the Washington State LTC Ombudsmen. The successful applicant will agree to spend a minimum of four hours per week in their assigned facility. Ombudsmen must attend monthly in-service training. Ombudsmen are advocates for residents in LTC facilities.
