Make a Difference in Your Community!

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. Our volunteers contribute their time and skills based on their personal schedules, interests and the needs of the volunteer station(s). They serve in schools, hospitals, police departments, libraries and other organizations, helping to address areas of critical concern to the residents within Galveston County. RSVP volunteers receive free supplemental insurance coverage while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
