The MOVRC Retired and Senior Volunteer Program encourages volunteerism in adults 55 and over, offering a wide variety of placement opportunities in Calhoun, Jackson, Roane and Wood counties. Through RSVP, volunteers can use the experience acquired over a lifetime to fill critical community and national needs. In return, volunteers meet new people, maintain current skills or learn new ones, and remain connected, active members of their communities. RSVP offers flexibility, free supplemental insurance coverage while volunteering, annual recognition events, and serves as a matchmaker between your skills and interests and the needs of non-profit organizations. You choose how often and where you will volunteer.
