Mission Statement

The Miami-Dade County Community Action and Human Services' Department Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) promotes engaging persons 55 and older through volunteer service to utilize their expertise, knowledge, and skills to assist with meeting local community needs.

Description

Make a Difference in Your Community!

RSVP volunteers contribute from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through schools, day care centers, police departments, hospitals and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of Older Americans with a variety of opportunities for community service and offers supplemental insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are assigned.

I was born and raised in the community of Miami-Dade, and I want to give back to where I live. Even though I mostly volunteer for the organization US Road Sports & Entertainment of Florida. With volunteer coordination Gina Palazzi.
