Mission Statement

Since 1973, Kauai RSVP has improved lives & strengthened our community by meeting the most critical needs through the active service of volunteers. AmeriCorps Seniors members of Kauai RSVP are 55 years or better sharing their lifetime experiences in meaningful service opportunities at non-profit organizations, schools, hospitals, museums, and county & state facilities. Volunteers help others while improving their own health and outlook through volunteer service. Last 2021, almost 13,000 hours were invested for the benefit of our community - that's more than a third of a million dollars in services! For 49 years, Kauai RSVP has provided volunteer service opportunities as a solution to local, regional and national challenges. Despite COVID-19, RSVP volunteers are safely serving in our community to support the most pressing needs, especially support services to enable elders and people with disabilities to live independent lives in their own homes for as long as possible.
