MUST BE OVER AGE 55 To PARTICIPATE*** RSVP, an AMERICORPS SENIORS program, offers a variety of challenging and meaningful volunteer opportunities to Monroe County citizens AGED 55 and older. RSVP enriches the lives of those residents who want to remain active through community service to others. AMERICORPS SENIORS improves lives, strengthens communities, and foster civic engagement through service and volunteering.

***THESE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES ARE FOR MONROE COUNTY, PA RESIDENTS ONLY OVER AGE 55 ***
The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) OF MONROE COUNTY, PA provides opportunities for Senior residents 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through schools, day care centers, police departments, hospitals and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
