Mission Statement

To serve as a catalyst by raising awareness and funding

to support various grass root initiatives and programming

with the focus on granting wishes for Michigan’s terminally ill children,

supporting the armed services,

embracing senior citizens as well as

partnering with numerous other charitable endeavors

while striving to enhance the overall quality of life for the

community, region and beyond.

Description

Since 1999, "Quake on the Lake" has gained a reputation as one of the premier summertime events in/around Oakland County, Michigan.

The "Quake" has become a "must attend" event for North American Inboard Hydroplane owners and drivers with world-record racing performances from the top teams in the business. The event is the proud recipient of 19 American Power Boat Association (APBA) world speed records being set in 5 different racing classes making Pontiac Lake one of the fastest one-mile
race courses in the country!
