Make a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.

The Senior Companion Program of the NYS Office of Mental Retardation & Developmental Disabilities serves only adults with developmental disabilities. Through their special caring, Senior Companions provide needed support for adults with disabilities so they can maintain or gain new levels of independence. The Senior Companions foster daily living skills, and integration into the neighborhoods.

Working in the field of mental health, low-income- housing programs and in populations of alcohol and drugs for over twenty years to better assist the quality of life and mental health. Employment / Volunteer Experience: Public Consulting Group / Staffing Solutions Contact Tracer reaches out to people that have tested positive for a particular disease or infection and asks them to identify anyone they’ve recently been in contact with. With a goal of reducing the risk of spread, the contact tracer then gets in touch with those people to let them know they may have been exposed.
