The Bedford-Stuyvesant Crusaders are a nonprofit semi professional football organization with a focus on sportsmanship, education, mentorship, hard work and providing men of all ages the opportunity to play the game of football. We pride ourselves as being a foundation for these men who can earn opportunities to play on a college or even a profes-sional level. We are a Bedford Stuyvesant based football team operating in the larger community of Brooklyn.
Operating in the Bedford-Stuyvesant area, we encourage team and individual involvement on every level. Our goal is to give op-portunities to families and individuals in need in our local neighborhood. Partnering with local stake holders, leaders, oth-er non profits, and businesses we strive daily to be a positive force in the community. The Bedford-Stuyvesant Crusaders have a mission to provide an enlightening experience through the game of football to local fans, families, at risk youth and anyone who enjoys this great sport. One of our main focus points is to provide a avenue of mentorship that works well for mentors and mentees.
As the Crusaders, we emphasize community involvement and being present in the local neighborhood through many different platforms. The players and staff in our organization build char-acter through various volunteer programs and efforts that bene-fit the people that need it most. This type of hands on engage-ment builds a strong unbreakable brotherhood among the play-ers and staff, the building block to a great football program and building responsible men. The Crusaders organization will al-ways strive to be a uplifting and positive force in the community.
