Riverbend Opera Company

Description

Riverbend Opera Company is a singers' collaborative, formed in 2009. We are a Virginia non-profit corporation and 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable organization. 2014 is our sixth season bringing major operatic works to performance in intimate spaces for audiences composed of opera afficianados and music lovers attending their first opera. Our principal artists span the range from seasoned professionals with international experience, to emerging artists just embarking on their professional careers.

In 2013 we were honored by the Arts Council of Fairfax County with the "Emerging Arts Award" for our "entrepreneurial and quality arts programming" and our successes working to "inspire and engage diverse audiences of music lovers."
