Ryvanz-Mia

Description

After noting the orphaned and otherwise needy children's needs in her community Mrs. Regina Esime Djentuh (lovingly referred to as Mama Esi) decided to welcome these children into her home. Over the years, many children have found a home at Ryvanz-Mia children's home. Additionally, often with the help of dedicated volunteers, from Kpando, other parts of Ghana, and all over the world, Ryvanz-Mia h as lead various community outreach events and has grown its own facilities. Ryvanz-Mia Childcare International is a non-profit organization with the registered with the Registrar General Department.

Currently, Ryvanz-Mia Children's Home houses 23 children ranging in age from 4-19-years-old. The children are from all walks of life - coming from Accra, Kpando, Hohoe, and even from Togo. Some have no living relatives and others have parents who are simply unable to care for them for a variety of reasons. Regardless of their background, Ryvanz-Mia provides these children with access to education, shelter, clothing, nutrition, medical care, and a whole lot of love. Although funds are limited, the staff at the orphanage try to give each child every opportunity to succeed in life.
