Mission Statement
The Great Plains Black History Museum exsists to Preserve, Celebrate and Educate all persons on the contributions, challenges and accomplishments of African Americans on the Great Plains. We live our mission through exhibits, events and being an educational resource.
Description
The museum operates an exhibition space in the Crossroads Mall (7400 Dodge Street), which is the public face of the museum that features exhibits from our archives that changes every 30-45 days. We accept memberships, donations and corporate support for the museum. We are active on social media and use this vehicle to reach out to those interested in the activities of the Museum. Our annual events gives the Museum an opportunity for public interaction and learning.
The Museum offices are off site from the Exhibition space in the Midtown area of our city.
