Foundation to Fly, Inc. empowers girls to be confident, self-assured leaders with an understanding of their impact on the world around them.

Description

Foundation to Fly is a non-profit organization and developer of research-based, enrichment programs that empower girls of all ages to be confident, self-assured leaders. Girls who participate in these programs experience more positive attitudes toward school and learning, as well as lower rates of anxiety, social phobia, and depression. In its’ Roots and Wings program, 3-5th grade girls are taught lessons rooted in social and emotional intelligence as well as universal traits of leadership. Over the course of the 10 month after school program, girls explore the impact of their decisions in their own lives and the lives of others, solidifying how much they matter.

It is important for girls to know they can be independent and thrive. I would like to voluteer. I am a registered and licensed dietitian and have published an ebook I just ate so why am I still Hungry,? Maybe I can help.
