Description
Per Scholas is a national nonprofit committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by offering high quality technology education, job training, career development and placement opportunities. Since 1998, Per Scholas has provided tuition-free IT training to more than 5,000 individuals, helping them launch and grow in IT careers.
Building on our proven record of success, and in partnership with the Creating IT Futures Foundation, Per Scholas has expanded nationally with job training centers in Columbus and Cincinnati, OH, the National Capital Region in Silver Spring, MD, and Dallas, TX. We are slated to open our doors in Atlanta, GA by 2016.
In the National Capital Region, more than 120 students have trained at Per Scholas. With starting wages after training of $18.93, our graduates are connecting with new opportunities after success in training and certification.
