Senior Companion Program taps the invaluable resources,experience, skill and talents of West Virginia's older adults to make Independence a Reality.

Description

Senior Companions are volunteers 55 years or

older on a fixed income that meet federal

guidelines . Senior Companions help others in their

community by providing in-home support,

transportation, meal preparation , respite, hospice

support, veterans service, senior independent

living and companionship. A small stipend is given

of $2.65 per hour to volunteers that meets federal

requirements.
