Mission Statement

To provide quality care to terminally ill patients and their families in the communities in which we serve. Through education and direct care, we strive to provide quality of life, to help patients live with comfort and dignity, and to support families as they move beyond loss.

Description

We are in need of caring, compassionate people, at least 18 years of age, who have a desire to help individuals and families share the best days possible as they deal with a life-limiting illness. We care about the quality of life and helping patients live those days as they choose. Our volunteers assist with the support and care of patients during this time in their lives. Our volunteers offer support, companionship and practical care such as running errands, sitting with a patient to provide relief for the care giver, read to a patient, or help the patient write in his/her journal or provide the power of presence.
