Day Break - Adult Day Care offers individuals socialization and health care services in a comfortable, homelike environment. As caregivers struggle with the need for respite to work or simply have a break, Day Break offers a safe alternative for their loved one. Activities can include field trips to places in the community, leisure activities like crafts and games, encouragement to participate in activities at the Center for Active Generations, and one-on-one companionship and socilization with participants. Terms: Car Required, Volunteer must be at least 55 years of age, Volunteer must meet income eligibility requirement Other Information Requested of Volunteers: Driver's License, Proof of Insurance, Criminal Backgroud Information, Physical Exam, and References
